 Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne arent too concerned with screaming out their disgust for their daughter Kellys ex-boyfriend Bert McCracken, singer for THE USED. It seems his bands name may be something Kelly can relate to because Ozzy and Sharon are convinced that Bert used their child to promote his band, according to TeenMusic.com. They say that McCracken only wanted publicity when he started dating the seventeen year old Kelly. Totally unaware of his plans to leave her, Kelly was stunned when Bert broke off their romance on Valentines Day following an announcement he had made earlier during a show earlier that they were through. A source tells magazine US Weekly, [Ozzy and Sharon] are pissed because Bert used her to get on TV and get press for himself. On the other hand, a friend of  McCrackens said, The kid is not that calculating. The only thing he cares about is what city hes playing next. Hes on the road constantly. He didnt have time for a serious relationship. In almost the same sentence, McCrackens friend said that [free publicity] hasnt hurt the band, [but] he really loved that girl. Everything he did was out of love. All I can say is that I sure hope he loves the feeling of getting booed off a stage from now on because the band sucks to start with, and now with him pissing off the Grandfather Of Metal, Im sure hes bit off more trouble than he can deal with.
